The language in Quebec... French or English??...

One of the most important things in Canada, especially in Quebec, is the language. English is spoken throughout Canada, but in some provinces French is also the official language. Here in Quebec, French is more important than English, especially if you want to find a job. I know some English, and I'm just starting with French, it's a completely unknown language for me, and the easy truth is that you don't just have to study it and spend time on it, if you don't spend a couple of hours a day you can fall behind. Over there I hear that they say that French is sexy, mmmm I would say that when you have the need to learn it it is not hahahaha but I can say that the classes in my institute are very good. Our teacher makes sure that we don't fall asleep, he makes us educational games and gives us a lollipop like children for the right questions. It is a very dynamic group and not boring at all, and our teacher helps us a lot. So now besides Digital Marketing I am studying ...

Things we like about Quebec

When moving to another country one must adapt to their customs, but there are things in Quebec that made me feel that I did not make the wrong decision: 1. Children can ride their bikes to school without their bikes being stolen, their horns honked, or a car not respecting the signs, especially stops. 2. When an ambulance passes, all the cars stand aside and give it a pass, even if the traffic light is red. Nor do the other cars go behind the ambulance to go faster, here they get a fine if a police officer sees you. 3. The seasons of the year, here are well marked, and many when they say Canada, Montreal, Quebec, Toronto believe that it is winter all year round!!!! It is not like that, we have the 4 seasons, Spring, all the parks are filled with flowers and the temperature begins to rise, we begin to put on cooler clothes. Summer, it's super hot, it's short but you feel the energy and they have festivals everywhere, water parks open for children and public pools fill up. Autumn...

Goodbye with my daughters' friends in Peru

If for me the farewells were sad, those of my daughters left my heart wrinkled. We started with Noelia, the oldest, her classmates from her school were the first and they had already organized, they just needed the space and I helped them do it on the terrace of my building. The boys took care of the decoration, soft drinks, chips, snacks, and the gift too, everything was their idea. It was a surprise and Noelia began to cry, they surprised her and they would have seen her face, I was moved, they don't know how I regretted my decision at that moment, but she told me "it's for her future." seeing their faces a few days before was the first time in months that they saw each other because in Peru we still had no meetings, and I was very sad that it was for a farewell. Now I will tell you a little about Lorena, she was the one who suffered the most from the pandemic for 9 and now 10 years, she left almost crying, the day she said goodbye, that I organized her because she ...

Goodbye with our friends in Peru

Farewells are sad, but I can say that mine were full of love, I felt very loved by many, until the same day they went to see me for a while before leaving. I left with dreams and goals well placed in my shoes, but my heart shrank with all the good wishes. For me it was not a farewell but a see you later because I am sure that I will see them again, and I hope some of them can visit me. This will be the post with more photos because I really summarize it in images!!!! I love you guys!!! thanks a lot!!!

First hospital experience in Canada

The subject of health in Quebec is good, when they take care of you and you have Maladi insurance. The service system is not very good, it is similar to the insurance of the State of Peru that many of us know, the difference is that here it is bigger and you are not on the floor. I will tell you about my experience in a children's hospital, an emergency experience, which in the end was not. They called my husband from school to tell him that Lorena was in severe pain and that we should take her home or to a hospital, because they don't give you medicine at school, you should take her to your doctor. He picked her up and said that she was doubling over from the pain, for this she had already been complaining about the pain a few days before they came and went but we thought it was indigestion. My husband asked her where and she pointed to the right where the appendix was, she came and went all the way to the hospital. He asked a friend for help and he took them to the hospital. ...
