I will put this post in Spanish for many who want to come and have doubts or are seeing what steps to follow.
First of all, we had advice with a certified agency, we informed ourselves, we took our time and we saw all the options and we reviewed the budget several times.

We were unhappy with many things that happened in Peru, my husband was stressed at work even though he had a good job, the stress was taking its toll on him, and the body is no longer 25 years old, adults will understand. The quality of life more than anything is what motivated us, at first I did not want, because as many think, to start again? will we be okay? my family, friends, my life here made because at 40 years old it's ready. My husband told me let's go and I told him no, months later the story was different....
One day my husband arrived after work and told me, I can't stand it anymore, I want to go, let's go, his tone was not an order, but a request and if they had seen him, I just said ok. For this I had already been thinking since the first time he said it, the theme was to overcome the fear of starting.

We saw 3 agencies before giving a YES. The first two didn't give us much hope:

1. This was one that asked us for $7,000 US dollars in advance and we asked about the issue of residence.
I must clarify that all the agencies ask for your information to see which profile you fit best in, we filled out a form and they gave us two options: Come with residence in Saskatchewan or come as an international student.
We didn't like the issue of residence in Saskatchewan because of the low temperatures and we started looking and didn't see it as an option. They told us that if my husband studied he would get more than 28 thousand dollars because he already had a master's degree and it depends on the budget because they ask you for much more to support your family.
It would be better for your wife to study, they told her, she doesn't have a degree and a degree after school is more comfortable and you can work 8 hours with your English and she can work 4 hours after she adapts to college.
An international student can work 40 hours a week.At that moment we said no, because I didn't think so since it said who takes care of the girls and more.

2. The other option was a recommendation from a Peruvian who did his paperwork with this girl and it went very well, we made the appointment with her and asked about the Atlantic program and about Express Entry, this was different, in Express Entry We definitely didn't qualify for that, we needed to be under 39 and well, I had to have more studies than just intermediate English and commercial aviation, it's not the same. Well.... she said the same thing as the first ones, that I go to study and in a couple of years I can have residency, or a little more depending on the province.

At this point we both got discouraged, we spent a couple of weeks without talking about it, until I told him to ask him what we were going to do? and she told me that a friend recommended another girl who took several of her relatives to Quebec, we said let's do the last try.

3. We made an appointment with Yoli, the truth is that in an hour and a half she took away all our doubts, she told us why in the Expres Entry we did not reach the points, the Atlantic program, and then she told us how it was about the student , the truth took the blindfold off us and we realized that it was the only way and we began to do the accounts. Talking to her made things very clear for us on the date. We decided to do her paperwork with her, because she gave us enough confidence and security.

The first thing is that the college accepts you so you must have the requirements that they ask of you, these are different according to the careers and provinces of Canada:

Have the English or French language Level B2 IELTS or TOEFL test

Certificate and diploma of graduation from college or university or institute that you have studied in your country.

If you have a master's degree, present the certificate as well.

CV Curriculum, resume (only if it is postgraduate)

Birth certificate.

For the Student Visa:

CAQ To process the study permit in Quebec we must have this permit called CAQ, you can find it on the embassy website and fill it out, everything is clear, you just have to read it carefully. This has a price for each person who is going to study my case, it was my two daughters and I (my daughters in primary and secondary school and I in college).

Translated birth certificates of all family members (as it was in my case).

Passports, they asked me for the separate sheets where they previously stamped my entrances and exits to other countries, the agency that helped me put it in the file that was presented.

Certificates of studies, whether from university, high school, something technical, those papers are presented. including languages.

Economic income, at the time the visa is requested, you must be working, because if they do not see your tickets I have seen cases where they deny it, the rooting (properties at least one) car if you have it, that is important.

Savings We had savings because my husband is always proactive, and in our case we had to prove, because we were 4 people, it had to be more than 38 thousand US dollars (this varies according to how much your degree costs). You must show them in the savings account, I know that also in actions apart from what is in the account.

After this comes the biometrics, which are the fingerprints to see us in the system and see that we have no records, there they open a file of each one, they ask you a minimum of questions and they give you instructions for when they ask for your passports. Here it does not mean that if they are going to give you the visa, they only inform you in case they approve you and that data should not be lost.

If you're on the right track, it's time to do the medical exams, these are NOT done by the insurance you have, it's private by a doctor recognized by the embassies and that price is different from adults at that time it cost us S /. 800 SOLES was x 3 my eldest daughter who was 14, my husband and I. My youngest daughter was something from S/. 740 SOLES for being under 12. Apart from that, the x-rays and another test that would be something from S /. 30 soles each. The same doctor signs this and puts together a file and sends it to the Canadian embassy.

The next step is to wait for the response from the embassy and when they ask for your passports you must follow the instructions they gave you when you went to the biometrics. I recommend that you leave your passport and pay for the return of the passport and tracking takes approx. 10 working days, after that you will receive your passport with the visa. Remember that they give you the visa until the date your passport expires, but if you have a new passport, they only give you the amount of time you are going to study until that date, your visa is what comes after it is to renew in Canada.

First hospital experience in Canada

The subject of health in Quebec is good, when they take care of you and you have Maladi insurance. The service system is not very good, it is similar to the insurance of the State of Peru that many of us know, the difference is that here it is bigger and you are not on the floor. I will tell you about my experience in a children's hospital, an emergency experience, which in the end was not. They called my husband from school to tell him that Lorena was in severe pain and that we should take her home or to a hospital, because they don't give you medicine at school, you should take her to your doctor. He picked her up and said that she was doubling over from the pain, for this she had already been complaining about the pain a few days before they came and went but we thought it was indigestion. My husband asked her where and she pointed to the right where the appendix was, she came and went all the way to the hospital. He asked a friend for help and he took them to the hospital. ...

Mascota de Peru a Quebec - Dog from Peru to Quebec
